Rare Scene Beaded Bag

This is a most unusual bead knitted bag. I have never seen this pattern before. Color and design are outstanding. Rarely do you see a black figure depicted on a purse. Same design on both sides. The bag is knitted with tiny micro seed beads (I count 324 to the square inch) and is in Excellent condition. There is NO bead loss. Original silk lining in very good condition with just one tiny tear and is surrounded by original floral trim. Fabulous jeweled frame with more stones embellishing chain. Measures 6 in. wide x l0 in. long. Chain adds another 7 l/2 inches.

Great Chatelaine Tam O Shanter Coin Purse

Measuring 1 7/8 inch by 2 3/4 inches wide, this unusual ornately embossed lid adorns a black body crocheted Tam O Shanter coin purse with inserted french steel beading. Diameter of the coin purse measures over 3 inches. Interior is original of kid leather with a pocket, but it is worn and torn. The lid pops open with a latch and has a "patented" stamping. Embossed chatelaine ring and chain handle is original as well.
